People shopping at artisan market booths inside a spacious, well-lit room with high ceilings, large windows, and decorative curtains.

An Indoor Farmer's Market

Dozens of local food makers under one roof, the Monday before Thanksgiving. Cheese, bread, charcuterie, chocolate, honey, preserves, wine, and spirits, bought straight from the people who make them. Stock the table, knock out some gifts, stay a while and have fun!

This year, for the first time, we are hosting our annual event at our distillery (Barber Lee Spirits) in downtown Petaluma, where fair attendees will also have the opportunity to taste our spirits and enjoy seasonal cocktails and libations while they shop and enjoy our extensive holiday decorations!

How this started

After the 2017 wildfires devastated Sonoma County, Lorraine & Michael Barber of the Brutal Hill (formerly Barber Cellars) winery noticed that many of the local artisans they supported in their tasting room were suffering from lack of business. At the height of harvest season, farmers markets were closed and sales were slim. They organized this event to get a much needed financial boost to local food producers. The event has become a vital start to the holiday season and remains an important and beloved event for local food artisans and Sonoma County residents to kick off the holiday season!
