What?

The Petaluma Holiday Food Fair is an indoor farmer’s market where folks can purchase directly from local food artisans to prepare for thanksgiving and beyond.  It is free to attend, but tickets and time reservations are required. CLICK HERE for tickets.

How

There will be no sampling this year, although some food will be sold for consumption outside in the courtyard. The number of people allowed in at one time is limited. Tickets are required and include a time preference (4, 4:30, 5:30, 6, etc) so there’s less of a wait. CLICK HERE for tickets.

After the 2017 wildfires devastated Sonoma County, Lorraine & Michael Barber of the Barber Cellars winery noticed that many of the local artisans they supported in their tasting room were suffering from lack of business.  At the height of harvest season, farmers markets were closed and sales were slim. They organized this event to get a much needed financial boost to local food producers. The event has become a vital start to the holiday season and remains an important boost to local food vendors because of these strange and tough times.
